Each year the Sequim City Band presents scholarships to college bound and college freshman and sophomore North Olympic Peninsula music students.
Students should be enrolled in a band program and be interested in furthering their musical knowledge.
Applicants must have played at least one concert (and accompanying rehearsals) with the Sequim City Band to be eligible for this scholarship.

1. Essay: (one or two pages) What is the most rewarding thing you do with your musical instrument, and what difference has this made in your life?
2. Letter of Recommendation: Include a letter of recommendation from your band director
