Our Director

Tyler Benedict, was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula and graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Music in Music Education.  He also has a Master Degree in Conducting from Southern Oregon University.  Tyler has performed extensively in community bands, orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the Pacific Northwest.  In addition, he has taught band and orchestra school programs.  Tyler performed as a band member with the Sequim City Band, and he currently plays tuba with the Port Angeles Symphony Orchestra and trombone with the Olympic Express Jazz Band.
